Abstract
The purpose of this study is to identify the principles of legal justice reflected in the New Trial movie, to find out how the struggle of the lower classes is depicted in the movie, and to find out the author's reasons address the struggle of the lower classes in legal justice into a movie. This research is a literary research that analyze use qualitative methods. This study uses two data sources, the first data is the New Trial (2017) movie which is also known as Jaesim by director and writer Kim Tae Yoon. The second data are journals, online books, author interviews, and other sources. The result of the study is; First are the principles of legal justice which consist of rationality, consistency, publicity, the principle of presumption of innocence, the good faith of law enforcers and the behavior of law enforcers. Second is how the lower class fights for legal justice depicted in the movie. Third is to show the sensitivity of the author regarding the social situation in his environment which is reflected in New Trial movie (2017).
