Abstract

Marisa Andriana/A310170101. Deiksis in Podcast Discussion Deddy Corbuzier With the Minister of Manpower and Its Relevance to Learning Indonesian Language in SMP. Thesis. Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, University of Muhammadiyah Surakarta. June, 2021. Currently, podcast shows attract a lot of attention and become a hot topic for social media users. Deddy Corbuzier in his podcast often brings public figures and important figures to discuss a topic and issue that is currently being discussed by the public. The purpose of this study is to find out the form of deixis in Deddy Corbuzier's podcast with the minister of manpower and to find out the relevance of deixis in Deddy Corbuzier's podcast with the minister of manpower to learning Indonesian in junior high school. This research is included in the type of qualitative descriptive research. The design used in this research is in the form of case study research. This research was conducted for five months, from March to July 2021. The material object in this research is the podcast show Deddy Corbuzier with the Minister of Manpower on October 14, 2020, while the formal object of research is includes the forms of deixis. The subjects in this study are Deddy Corbuzier and the Indonesian Minister of Manpower, namely Ida Fauziyah as speakers and speech partners in podcast shows. The primary data in this study is a podcast utterance by Deddy Corbuzier with the Minister of Manpower which contains deixis, while the secondary data for research are literature and journals relevant to the research. The source of the research data is the podcast show Deddy Corbuzier with the Minister of Manpower on October 14, 2020 on Youtube social media. Data collection was carried out using the listening technique, then followed up with the note-taking technique. The validity or validity of the research data uses the triangulation technique of data sources. The data analysis of the findings was carried out using the matching technique. The forms of deixis found were 18 data personal deixis, 3 data place deixis, 11 data time deixis, 6 data social deixis, and 21 data discourse deixis.
