Abstract

This study aims to know what is the factor that influence adolescent consuming alcohol in Surakarta. This study is using qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection is using semi-structured interview. This study informant critertias are adolescent that consuming alcohol age 17-22 years domiciled in Surakarta. Number of informant of this study is 4 person. Consumption of alcohol influenced by many factor. That is factor that comes from inside a person (internal) and factor that comes from outside a person (external). Researcher is looking for what factors adolescent consuming alcohol. From the result of this study found that the internal factors adolescent cosuming alcohol are curiosity, trying, escape from problem, and looking for fun. And the external factor adolescent consuming alcohol is social environment.
