Abstract
Abstract The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between hardiness and social support with entrepreneurial intentions in students. This study has a population of active students in the second to eight semesters of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Muhammadiyah University of Surakarta. The Cluster Random Sampling method was used in taking the sample of this study and obtaining a research sample of 127 students as respondents. This study uses quantitative methods using google form as a data collection tool. Multiple linear regression was used to perform data analysis. The results of the analysis show that there is a significant relationship between hardiness and social support with entrepreneurial intentions. Correlation analysis proves that there is a positive relationship between hardiness and entrepreneurial intentions in students and there is a relationship between social support and entrepreneurial intentions in students. This means that the higher the hardiness score, the higher the level of entrepreneurial intention in students and the higher the social support, the higher the entrepreneurial intention of the students. So that the major and minor hypotheses of this study are accepted as true. Hardiness contributed 35.2% to the entrepreneurial intention, which means that 35.2% of the entrepreneurial intention can be explained by the hardiness variable. Social support contributed 13.9%, which means that 13.9% entrepreneurial intention can be explained by the social support variable. 50.9% influenced by variables not examined.
