Abstract
Green Open Space (RTH) is one of the important urban components. In general, public open space (open space) in urban areas consists of green open space and non-green open space. Urban Green Open Space is part of the open spaces (open space) of an urban area filled with plants, plants and vegetation (endemic or introduced) to support ecological, socio-cultural and architectural benefits that can provide economic benefits (welfare) for the people. Open space is a space that can be accessed by the public either directly within a limited period of time or indirectly in an indefinite period of time. In recent years, the government has been promoting a Green city approach in making parks. Green City is a concept of sustainable and environmentally friendly urban development achieved by a balanced development strategy between economic growth, social life and environmental protection so that the city becomes a habitable place not only for the present generation, but also for the next generation. Green city aims to produce a sustainable urban development by reducing the negative impact of development on the environment with a combination of a spatial strategy, infrastructure strategy and social development strategy. The concept of an environmentally friendly city is the effectiveness and efficiency of natural resources and energy, reduces waste, implements an integrated transportation system, ensures environmental health, and is able to synergize natural and artificial environments.
