Abstract

Novel is a literacy that can influence the attitudes and behavior of the reader. Because it contains imagination and emotion to solve human problems that last all day, even throughout the ages. In addition, the novel can also be a literary work that can convey messages about the value of Islamic religious education in everyday life. Assalamualaikm Beijing novel is a religious and romance genre novel that tells about the struggle of a Muslim woman in facing various obstacles or trials of life and the journey of finding true love. The purpose of this study was to describe the values of Islamic religious education contained in the novel "Assalamualaikum Beijing" by Asma Nadia. This research uses a qualitative approach and this type of research includes library research. The data collection method used in this study is a documentation technique or study documentation, namely data collection through written items such as novels, magazines, minutes, etc. The data analysis used in this research is by using content analysis. This method is used to find out the principles of a concept for the purpose of describing objectively-systematically about a text. The results of the research in this novel there are three scopes of the value of Islamic religious education, namely aqidah, worship, and morals. (1) The value of faith education is shown by the strength of faith in Allah in carrying out daily activities, accompanied by obedience to draw closer to Allah in order to become obedient servants. (2) The value of worship education is shown by devoting oneself to Allah SWT. (3) The value of moral education is shown in the relationship between human behavior and God and humans with humans.
