Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of legal awareness of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) actors on the importance of trademark registration as well as the obstacles or obstacles that arise against trademark registration by MSME actors. This study uses an empirical juridical research method whose main data source is primary data. The results of the discussion found that Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) are very important to be protected. This is because IPRs are very influential on the economy. The scope of IPR that business actors need to pay attention to, especially MSMEs are brands, because they can increase product sales for MSMEs. However, from the results of the study, it was found that the legal awareness of service product MSMEs actors in Wonogiri District, Wonogiri Regency on the importance of trademark registration was still lacking.
