Abstract
This study aims to (1) determine the application of online narrative powerpoint learning media in geography subjects at Colomadu State Senior High School (2) to determine the effectiveness of online narrative powerpoint learning media in geography subjects at SMA Negeri Colomadu. This research was a quantitative research, pre-experimental design with the design form One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. This design aimed to determine the differences in the improvement of students' abilities after using online-based narrative powerpoint learning media. The population in this study were students of class X SMA Negeri Colomadu, Karanganyar Regency in the academic year 2020/2021, totaling 281 students. purposive sampling, which is a sampling technique carried out for a specific purpose. The sample taken was class X IPS 3 with the reason that class X IPS 3 students met the requirements to be the research sample. The requirements are the number of students who can take part in online learning. The data collection techniques used were documentation, observation, and tests. The data analysis technique in this research was normality test and different test / hypothesis test to determine the effectiveness of online-based powerpoint narrative media. The results showed that (1) The application of online narrative powerpoint media in geography subjects at SMA Negeri Colomadu was running well and smoothly. This is based on when online learning students can follow well, namely by joining the class, then filling in the attendance list, and taking online learning (2) Learning outcomes using narrative powerpoint media had increased. This is based on the results of learning during the pretest, the average score of students was 62.81 while the average posttest was 82.34 and based on the results of the T-test, the pretest and posttest data showed a significant value of 0.000 which means < 0.05. This shows that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, meaning that the application of online narrative powerpoint media was effective in geography subjects at SMA N 1 Colomadu Karanganyar.
