Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of ATM / debit cards, credit cards, electronic money, and inflation on interest rates in Indonesia. The data used in this study is secondary data sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and Bank Indonesia (BI). The analysis model used is the Partial Adjustment Model (PAM). The results of the t test analysis show that the electronic money variable has a negative and significant effect on interest rates in Indonesia. Meanwhile, the variables of ATM / debit cards, credit cards, and inflation have no effect on interest rates. The results of the F test prove that the PAM estimator model used in this study exists. The coefficient of determination is 96.77%, meaning that variations in interest rates can be explained by the variables of ATM / debit cards, credit cards, electronic money, and inflation. While the remaining 3.23% is explained by other independent variables which are not included in the model.
