Abstract

This study aims to determine the process of resolving land disputes in the public interest through mediation of the disputing parties and also knowing what kind of settlement is used by the Surakarta National Land Agency for dispute resolution that occurs in the Surakarta residency. The research method used is juridical empirical research method which is obtained directly from the field through the interview process. The type of research used is non-doctrinal or sociological research, which describes and explains the process and results of the case resolution process through mediation based on facts and the application of practice as it is. The data sources include primary data, namely interviews and secondary data including primary and secondary legal sources. Methods of data collection using literature study and interviews. The data analysis technique used qualitative techniques. The results showed that the Surakarta National Land Agency has implemented the Land Dispute Settlement Process for Public Interest through Mediation and the Mediation Forms used by the Surakarta National Land Agency in resolving Dispute Cases at Solo TechnoPark and Disputes in Punggawan, in accordance with the regulations and laws. The law has been stated in the process and stage, and has applied the existing principles in accordance with the applicable regulations.
