Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of inflation, exchange rates, interest rates, and gross domestic product (GDP) on foreign investment (PMA) in Indonesia for the 2000-2019 period. This research data uses secondary data from the websites of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Bank Indonesia and the Ministry of Trade of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemendag) using multiple linear regression models with the Ordinary Least Square (OLS) method. The results of this study indicate that the Exchange Rate and Gross Domestic Product have a positive and significant effect on FDI. Meanwhile, inflation and interest rates have no significant effect on FDI Keywords: Foreign Investment, Inflation, Exchange Rates, Interest Rates, Gross Domestic Product
