Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the financial performance of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The factors that affect the company's financial performance include the independent board of commissioners, managerial ownership, institutional ownership, audit committee, and intellectual capital. The company's financial performance as proxied by Return on Assets (ROA) serves as the dependent variable. The sample was selected using a purposive sampling method from 33 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2017-2019, so that 99 samples were obtained during the three years of observation. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis processed using the SPSS version 21 program.The results of this study indicate that the independent board of commissioners and intellectual capital are factors that affect the company's financial performance, while managerial ownership, institutional ownership, and audit committee are not factors that affect the company's financial performance.
