Abstract

Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a virus from the orthocoronavirinae subfamily in the coronaviridae family and the order Nidovirales. This viruses can infect birds and mammals, including humans. death due to Covid-19 increase, government policies such as physical distancing and PSBB have a negative impact on some people, such as anxiety, depression and stress. To reduce anxiety, is needed a media that can add information and expected to reduce anxiety during the pandemic. Media that easy to use during pandemic is application media. In order for the application media to be good, an assessment is carried out which will later be carried out the development of the application media. The purpose of this study was to determine the perceptions of health cadres in assessing health promotion application media so that they are better and more suitable for use in society. This type of research is qualitative. The method is descriptive exploratory with a phenomenological approach. There were 6 research participants consisting of 2 health cadres, 1 community leader, 2 health workers and 1 health expert. The research instrument used in this research is the interview guide with the in-depth interview method. Data analysis uses open-ended questions around application appraisal. The results showed that some of the participants agreed on the content of the material in the application, images, colors and backgrounds as health promotion media to reduce anxiety during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Some participants provided suggestions such as content on covid symptoms that needed to be added, colors that were too dark and used simpler language to make it easier to understand.
