Abstract

Bullying is an aggressive action that repeatedly against a group to an individual or individual against individuals that can result in physical injury or psychological trauma. One of the movies that took bullying issues is Joker movie by Todd Phillips. The technique in this study using by literature. The purpose of this study was to analyze the indicators of bullying and the impacts of bullying on character building. This study using psychoanalysis theory by Sigmund Freud. Two data source used namely primary data derived from the movie itself and secondary data consisting of previous studies, website online, thesis, journal that related to this research. There are four results found. First, there are three indicators of bullying contained in the Joker movie. Second, the implication of bullying on character building. Third, the reason for Joker as the main character in the movie does aggression.
