Abstract

Boyolali regency is one of the districts that have an interesting natural and cultural beauty in Central Java with diverse regional characteristics. Boyolali Regency also has a number of attractions that can potentially be developed and maintained. This research aims to analyze the strategy of development of tourist attractions in the southern part of Boyolali Regency to become a superior tourist area. The method used in this study is the field observation method. Observation methods are conducted directly in the field to see the quality of tourist attractions, tourist conditions, object development support, tourist infrastructure facilities, and object accessibility. The secondary data used is data that has been provided by the relevant agency or from the data of the recording of the institution. From the results of data processing and analysis shows that from the results of data processing and analysis shows that New Selo has the attraction to enjoy the rising sun and the setting sun with cool air, Iruk Petruk has the attraction there is a statue of one of the figures in puppetry and A garden that can be used to relax and have fun, Umbul Langse has the charm of being able to take photos under clear water. Visitors who come to Irung Petruk tourist attractions have a high class level classification, because they have more enthusiasts and adequate infrastructure such as within easy reach, mosques, toilets, parking areas. However, for New Selo and Umbul Langse have a Se-dang class level classification because New Selo has a very close distance to the summit of Mount Merapi with Standby status, the road to the tourist location climbs often many vehicles are not strong enough to reach the location and Umbul Langse does not have a ticket entered and no parking officer was located.
