Abstract

Own-source revenue is the most important part of the regional revenue and expenditure budget because its position reflects the independence of local governments in managing their finances. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of gross regional domestic product, domestic investment, foreign investment, inflation, and total population on local revenue in the residency of Pati during the period 2012–2018. The data analysis method used is panel data regression with a fixed effect approach. The results of the study prove that the population has a positive effect and foreign investment has a negative effect on local revenue. Meanwhile, gross regional domestic product, domestic investment and inflation have no effect on local revenue. The local government in the Pati residency must focus on intensification and extensification policies so that tax and retribution revenues will increase so that they can increase local revenue.
