Abstract

Early childhood education (PAUD) is a level of education before the level of basic education which is a coaching effort intended for children from birth until the age of six years which is carried out through the provision of educational stimuli to help physical and spiritual growth and development so that children have readiness in entering further education, which was held on formal, informal and informal channels. According to article 28 of Sidiknas Law No.20 / 2003 paragraph 1, PAUD (Early Childhood Education) is intended for children aged 1-8 years. Where age is the golden age of children in thinking and knowing many things. You can put children in PAUD schools so that their thinking intelligence will be honed and quickly receive new knowledge. However, actually kindergarten and playground are still included in one PAUD institution. The difference is that TK is on the formal track while KB / Playground is on the non-formal track. Early childhood education is one form the implementation of education that focuses on laying the foundation to direction of physical growth and development (fine motor coordination and rude), intelligence (power of thought, creativity, emotional intelligence, intelligence spiritual), socio emotional (attitude and behavior as well as religion) language and communication, according to the uniqueness and stages of development traversed by early childhood.
