Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the Capital Adequacy Ratio, Liquidity Ratio, and Credit Risk on the Profitability of Conventional Commercial Banks listed on the IDX for the 2016-2019 Period. Capital adequacy ratio is measured by Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), liquidity ratio is measured by Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), credit risk is measured using Non-Performing Loans (NPL), and profitability is measured by Return On Assets (ROA). This research is included in quantitative research. The population of this research is conventional commercial banks listed on the IDX for the period 2016-2019. The population in this study were 42 banks, while the sample was 37 banks. The sample selection technique in this study is using purposive sampling where the sample is determined based on certain criteria. This research is classified into panel data, namely a combination of cross section data and time series. Eviews 10 software is used in research as an analytical tool. The results of this study indicate that: 1) Capital adequacy ratio has no significant effect on profitability; 2) The liquidity ratio has no significant effect on profitability; 3) Credit risk has a significant effect on profitability.
