Abstract
The Indonesian government through the Ministry of Education has launched the 2013 curriculum which is expected to be implemented by all schools throughout Indonesia. There is something new in this curriculum, which making ICT as a learning tool, and it can be used as a learning medium for other subjects. Implementing of the 2013 curriculum requires all people related to education to be 'literate' with ICT, including educators, education staffs and students. ICT must be implemented in all lines of school operational activities from learning, assessment, health services, payment services and others. This research focuses on identifying the implementation of ICT in the learning process of other school operational activities at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta and the achievement of the UNESCO continuum stage. This research is a qualitative research. This study uses an ethnographic approach. The place for conducting this research is in Muhammadiyah 1 Elementary School of Surakarta. The resources in this study are the headmistress, the head of Computer Laboratory / Language Laboratory, administrative staff, teachers and related employees. The collecting data uses observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data was tested using triangulation. The data analysis technique used Milles and Huberman's theory, they are data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of the study show that, the implementation of ICT as a means of school operation at SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta has passed the Emerging stage in the UNESCO continuum stage, namely the use of ICTs by starting to purchase ICT facilities, both in the form of hardware and software. Furthermore, the application of ICT in SD Muhammadiyah 1 Ketelan Surakarta has passed the Applaying stage. This is indicated by the existence of educators and education staff who have used information technology in carrying out tasks related to school management learning activities properly. Furthermore, this school has started to step on the Infusing or integration stage but it is still not optimal.
