Abstract

The Sleman Regency Regional Spatial Plan can affect changes in land use that can result in changes in vegetation density. Changes in vegetation density that occur can affect changes in the average surface temperature of land in Sleman Regency. Utilization of remote sensing data can be used to estimate the value of land surface temperature by extracting the reflection of energy of each object on the surface of the land obtained from thermal sensors on remote sensing data. The mono window algorithm method was used in this study considering the data in 2002 had only one thermal sensor. Changes in surface temperature from 2002 to 2018 were dominant in the four surface temperature classes (30-40 ° C) with an increase in coverage area of 550.5742 Ha and five surface temperature classes (> 40 ° C) with an increase in coverage area of 968 , 9942 Ha. Quantitative descriptive analysis is used to determine changes in surface temperature that occur and the effect of the Regional Spatial Plan on changes in surface temperature. Determination of an Area in the Sleman Regency Spatial Plan influences changes in land use which results in a decrease or an increase in vegetation density which causes changes in the distribution of land surface temperature in Sleman Regency.
