Abstract

Abuse toward religion is the biggest thing abirting someone's islam, because it becomes the difference between faith and rebelion. In this study, the writer reveals the problem in detail due to people's needs of clear explanation of this phenomenon. As the harm and the impact of this behaviir toward islamic faith of of the doer and to maintain the pure of holy islam religion. Warning and threat contained in the book is based in the authentic and accurate source of Al Qur'an, Al Hadis, Tafsir expert's opinion, fikih expert. The study aims to explain the notion of abuse toward religion, its types, its consequences, and real example coverage in life during the human history. The methods of collecting data are compiling data as many as possible from Al Qur'an and its elaboration, hadis and its syarah, aqidah books, siroh, tarikh, fiqih and so on to support theme the writer needs to complete the discussion. Result: abuse toward religion includes the meaning of Allah (Lord), rasul, holy books, and materials. This rebelion is banned and causes the doer out of islam religion, based on naqli verses, and ulama's opinion of madzahib such as abu Hanifah, imam Malik, Imam Syafi'i, Imam Ahmad bin Hambal.
