Abstract

Environmental problems are increasingly widespread and serious. Activities that have the potential to cause pollution and environmental damage are garbage dumping in any place, community mining activities, industrial waste disposal that does not pay attention to environmental sanitation. The disposal of industrial waste has an impact on environmental pollution, including waste generated from industrial waste disposal such as toxic hazardous waste (B3), solid waste and liquid waste. The purpose of this study was to determine the activities of hospital waste management in PKU Aisyiyah Boyolali and to know the quality standards according to Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning environmental management in relation to the implementation of hospital waste management in PKU Aisyiyah Boyolali. This study used a descriptive study with a juridical empirical approach. Data collection in this study used interviews with competent parties in waste management at PKU AISYIYAH BOYOLALI Hospital. The data analysis method used is qualitative analysis method. The results show that the waste management of PKU AISYIYAH BOYOLALI Hospital has met the requirements, the waste water discharged into the environment has been treated according to the parameters required in the Central Java Provincial Regulation No. 05 of 2012 concerning the requirements for hospital environmental health and implementation of PKU hospital waste management. AISYIYAH BOYOLALI has complied with quality standards according to law number 32 of 2009 concerning environmental management.
