Abstract
The purpose of this study 1) To determine the effect of learning motivation on student achievement in class XI IPS at SMA Batik 2 Surakarta . 2) Knowing the influence of the family environment on student achievement in class XI IPS at SMA Batik 2 Surakarta . 3) Knowing the effect of learning motivation and family environment on student achievement in class XI IPS at SMA Batik 2 Surakarta . This type of research is quantitative research , where the data obtained comes from a questionnaire (google form) and data documentation which is then analyzed according to the statistical method to determine the effect or relationship between variables. Variables this study are learning motivation (X1), family environment (X2), and learning achievement (Y) . Determination of the sample size using table Issac was based on an error of 5%, which means that the samples obtained confidence level of 95%, based on the table Issac population is between 143 and sample 1 0 0 class XI IPS SMA Batik 2 Surakarta 2019/2020 teaching . Study use probability sampling technique means that sampling provides equal opportunity for each element (member) of the population to become members of the sample . Based on the results of t test analysis obtained by value t arithmetic ( 3 , 273 )> t table (1.984) , it is the motivation to learn has a significant influence partially to the achievement of students in grade XI IPS economy SMA Batik 2 Surakarta the Academic Year 2019/2020, while the family environment has a value of t arithmetic ( 4.005 )> t table (1.984), it is the family environment has a significant effect partially to the achievement graders subjects XI IPS in economy SMA Batik 2 Surakarta 2019/2020 Academic Year. The F test analysis shows that H 0 is rejected, because F count > F table, namely 15.303 > 3.92 and the significance value of probability <0.05, namely 0.000 , this is the learning motivation and family environment have a significant influence on student achievement. Class XI IPS SMA Batik 2 Surakarta 2019/2020 Academic Year. The coefficient of determination (R 2 ) of 0.240 which means the influence exerted by a combination of environmental variables and family learning motivation towards learning achievement of economic subjects was 24.0%, while the rest influenced by other variables.
