Abstract

Everything related to inheritance rights is an obligation that must be maintained following their rights. A lack of understanding can lead to problems in the future. Artificial insemination is a human way that is unnatural and requires rules to deal with these new things shortly and in the future. Therefore, the writing is entitled "Inheritance Rights of IVF Child According to the Indonesian Ulema Council and Indonesian Law." The existence of a child born through IVF, if it is not based on a correct understanding of the law or legal opinion of ulama and its consequences, can be controversial in the future in terms of the child's inheritance rights. It can lead to problems concerning the child's origin that need to be clarified. For this reason, the focus is on comparing the law enforcement of the inheritance rights of IVF child according to the legal opinion of the Indonesian Ulema Council and laws in Indonesia. According to both, there are different consequences of the laws on the inheritance rights of IVF children. If each is adopted from different guidelines, it will result in different rights which may lead to internal family conflicts due to inheritance issues in the future.
