Abstract
PT. Dan Liris is a manufacturing company that produces textiles and garments. PT. Dan Liris has four divisions, one of which is the dyeing and printing division. The machine that has the highest downtime in this division is the Osthoff machine which has been chosen as the research object. This study uses the Reliability Centered Maintenance method to determine the actions to be taken to ensure that a component can continue to fulfill the expected functions in the context of its current operation. The purpose of this study is to identify critical failure modes, recommend the type of corrective action proposal, and determine the critical component maintenance time interval. Based on the results of data processing, from 8 failure modes, there are 2 failure modes which are priority failures, namely compressed cooling pipes and dirty heat exchangers. The proposed types of remedial action for priority failure are failure finding (FF). After further processing using the Pareto diagram, There are 3 critical components that can be processed for the MTTF values, three components include the cooling pipe component, heat exchanger, and water filter with maintenance time intervals respectively 1491.580 hours, 1327.2 hours, and 1606.684 hours.
