Abstract
For humans the air conditioner is a necessity, such as the need for air conditioners that continue to increase from time to time. This is an impact experienced by the population of Indonesia, because Indonesia is a tropical country. Air Conditioners generally use a compressor working system by utilizing the temperature difference of Freon gas, as we know that chemicals such as Freon gas are very dangerous for users when inhaled or in contact with humans, and also this Freon gas can damage the ozone layer on the earth's surface. If there is continuous erosion of the ozone layer, the adverse effect that will occur is the increasing air temperature on the earth that triggers global warming, so that it will cause increasingly booming use of the Air Conditioner. Thus, a breakthrough is needed regarding the new Air Conditioner technology without having to use harmful chemicals, so that the Air Conditioner will become an environmentally friendly refrigerant, namely by using the Peltier Thermo Electric Cooler module. This Thermo Electric Cooler Peltier module works at a working voltage of 12 Volt DC and a working current of 6 Amperes. This Thermo Electric Cooler Peltier Module has 2 side elements, namely the hot element side and the cold element side. The Thermo Electric Cooler Peltier module has 2 side elements, namely the hot element side and the cold element side. With this function, a cooler is made, the Mini Air Conditioner, which is expected to be a Peltier Thermo Electric Cooler based Mini Air Conditioner that can produce cold temperatures. The results showed that the use of a Mini Air Conditioner based on Peltier Thermo Electric Cooler can produce temperatures up to 24,5°C in a span of 65 minutes.
