Abstract

This study aims to: 1) describe the general understanding of the teacher regarding the lesson plans; 2) describe the teacher's ability in preparing RPP K13; 3) identify teacher difficulties in compiling RPP K13; 4) describe the efforts applied by the teacher to face difficulties in preparing RPP K13. This research is a qualitative phenomenological research. The data collection techniques used were interviews and documentation. The validity of the data was done by using triangulation of sources and triangulation of techniques. The analysis technique used is: data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study: 1) the learning objectives compiled by the teacher are not in accordance with the ABCD standard, because the condition elements have not been included. The components of K13 learning activities for teachers have implemented character education, scientific approaches, 21st century skills, but in 21st century skills, teachers have not applied all aspects of learning. The aspects applied by the teacher are cooperation, communication, and innovation while the critical thinking aspect has not been applied. For teacher assessment using authentic assessment; 2) difficulties experienced by teachers in preparing lesson plans are the teachers' low ability to master IT, and the habit of copying lesson plans directly from the internet; 3) the efforts made by the teacher to face difficulties in preparing lesson plans is to conduct KKG and work together with fellow teachers to prepare lesson plans. In addition, the principal also conducts supervision by providing training to improve the ability of teachers to master IT.
