Abstract
The purpose of this study is: (1) to know contribution e-learning through WhatsApp media to student learning motivation (2) to know how much the contribution of e-learning through WhatsApp media to student learning motivation. The research uses a quantitative approach with the type of ex post facto. Data collection techniques used quitionnaires and documentation. The data source was obtained from a random sample of 96 students at MI Badrissalam. From results of this study it can be concluded that (1) e-learning through WhatsApp media contributes to the learning motivation of students at MI Badrissalam in 2020. This is based on the t test it is known price (2.02553) is greater than with a significance level of 5% (1.9885). (2) E-learning through WhatsApp media low contributes to the learning motivation of students at MI Badrissalam in 2020. The coefficient of determination is 0.04182 or 4.1%. So it can be interpreted that e-learing through WhatsApp media has influence of 4.1% on student learning motivation, and 95.9% is determinated by other factors such as the learning environment, family factors. Both from inside the student although from outside which is not examined by the researcher.
