Abstract
The construction implementation method has an impact not only on the processing time but on the implementation costs that must be incurred. The cost calculation is done by calculating the material cost and the work unit cost. Meanwhile, the calculation of time is by calculating the work plan time. This study aims to analyze the cost and time required to complete a multi-storey building construction work, particularly floor slabs using fly slab concrete compared to conventional reinforced concrete. The methodology used is to recalculate the cost and time of the Boyolali Islamic Hospital building, which was originally built using conventional reinforced concrete into fly slab concrete. Based on the comparative analysis of the construction implementation costs using conventional concrete and flyslab concrete, the construction of the Boyolali Islamic Hospital building as a whole using flyslab concrete can reduce costs by Rp. 269,023,055.00 from the value of floor slab work using conventional concrete. While the comparison of the implementation time, the time period for completing the construction work of the Boyolali Islamic Hospital building using flyslab concrete is 55 calendar days. The time saving between using conventional concrete and flyslab concrete is 10 calendar days.
