Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of firm size, net working capital, cash flow, cash conversion cycle, and growth opportunity on cash holding. This type of research is quantitative research with secondary data obtained through the website www.idx.co.id. The population in this study is manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange during the period 2016-2018. Based on the purposive sampling method, the samples obtained in this study was 74 manufacturing companies for 3 periods. This study uses multiple linear regression analysis method with SPSS version 20.00. This study proves that firm size, net working capital, and cash conversion cycle have an effect on cash holding. While cash flow and growth opportunity do not effect the cash holding.
