Abstract

Indonesia has exclusive breastfeeding coverage which is still far from the national target, which is 80%. Efforts to increase exclusive breastfeeding include the age factor of mothers who are <20 years of age, exlusive breastfeeding to babies tends to be smaller due to social demands, obligation of mother and social pressures that can affect breast milk production, in factors of education more higher education will make it easier for someone to absorb information and Implementing in health behavior and in occupational factors of mothers affects the practice of exclusive breastfeeding because of the lack of time to breastfeeding. Babies also need exclusive breastfeeding from the mother because it can affect nutritional of the baby's. The purpose of this literature review is to examine the relationship between age, education and occupational with exclusive breastfeeding. . The method that used is literature review with five journals that have been selected accredited by ISSN, journals searched through the google scholar database and published in less than 10 years. There are two articles that examine the relationship between age and exclusive breastfeeding, with the results have a p value of 0.034 and not have a p value of 0.120. There are four articles that examine education with results not related to exclusive breastfeeding with p value 0.760, p value 0.075, p value 0.442, p value 0.615. There were two articles that stated that there was a relationship between accupational and exclusive breastfeeding with a p value of 0.004 and a p value of 0.000 and one article stated that there was no relationship with a p value of 0.976. The conclusion from this literature review is that the variables that the most important role and have a relatipnship with exclusive breastfeeding are age and occupation.
