Abstract
The 5 floors and 1 basement hotel building in Sukoharjo has an area 671,746 m2 every floor, the burdens of this building consist of the building’s own load (dead load), live load, and earthquake load. To support these burdens, it is necessary to plan the dimensions of the foundation and the need for sufficient reinforcement. This foundation planning includes dimensions of the raft foundation based on NSPT values as well as technical drawings of structures and architecture for the analysis of loading calculations. The aim of this study is to determine the resultant axial load received by this building, and to know the carrying capacity of the soil and the dimensions of the raft foundation to support the load received also for determining the raft foundation reinforcement need. Based on the analysis using SAP2000 software, the resultant axiad load colomn is 43283,674 kN, with the analysis for the raft foundation, the maximum load received is 86,707 kN/m2. The carrying capacity of the land from N-SPT value is 377,685 kN. The dimensions of the raft foundation are same as the width, that is 671,746 m2, with the thickNess 1,4 m. the need for reinforcement is the x direction field is D25-100 mm, the x direction bearing reinforcement is D29-75 mm while the y direction field reinforcement is D25-100 mm, and the D29-75 mm support reinforcement.
