During the Covid-19 pandemic, many non-medical volunteers emerged throughout Indonesia, one of which was the Muhammadiyah covid-19 command center (MCCC). MCCC volunteers must face a big risk, namely contracting the virus while on duty, besides that they also experience various impacts of a pandemic in various aspects of life. With the various risks and impacts that must be faced during the Covid-19 pandemic, there are still a group of people who volunteer to help others, one of which is the MCCC Surakarta volunteer. The subject cannot be separated from the fear of the covid-19 virus, but what makes the subject survive to become an MCCC volunteer is a sense of pleasure in the world of volunteering, wanting to find provisions for the hereafter, and the desire to give charity. All subjects do not expect a reward from their volunteerism that the subject expects, namely the pleasure and reward of Allah, their family also has a social spirit like the subject, and is able to benefit others.
