Abstract

Load factor is the ratio between the average load for a certain time interval to the highest peak load in a certain time interval. Whereas the demand factor is the amount of electricity needed by PLN APJ in Madiun, which is needed every month to meet the needs of the business customer sector in Madiun. Electricity distribution customers in the business sector use electricity a lot during the day so that there is a large increase in electricity consumption or called the peak load time (WBP) so that there is a fluctuation in business sector customers. In the business sector itself there are several commercial groups B1 (900VA), B1 (1,300VA), B1 (2,200VA-5,500VA), and B2 (6,600VA-200KVA). The electricity burden in the business customer sector in Madiun region experienced a significant fluctuation. This is due to the large electricity consumption in the business sector during the day. This study aims to determine how much the value of the burden factors and customer needs factors that occur in the business sector in the Madison area of each business class. The method used to determine the value of the load factor and the demand power is to analyze the average power ratio to the peak load and to analyze the electricity power requirements needed by PLN APJ for one year. The results of the analysis conducted obtained data on business sector customer load factors during 2019 with the lowest value of the load factor found at the B1 (1300 VA) tariff, which is 5% in March and the highest load factor at the B2 (6600VA and above) tariff ) which is 71% in October. The next result is the results of the need for power connected in 2019. For business customers of class B1 (900 VA) 13,063,500 VA, B1 (1300 VA) 30,192,500 VA, B1 (2200-5500 VA) 82,548,400, B2 (6600 VA and above) 93,898,200 and the total needs connected power 219,702,600 VA.
