Abstract

Compactors are heavy equipment that are used to compact roads or construction areas so that they have the desired density level. This type of compactor wheel is made of completely iron or added weight in the form of sand or water, can be made of rubber (in the form of a tire wheel) with a sheep foot shape, the small ones can use the hands by pointing to the part to be compacted. In general, the weight of this compactor ranges from 6 -12 tons. The added weight due to filling the liquid on the cylinder wheel can increase its weight by 15% - 35%. In the compactor there is a grinding wheel. The grinding wheel is one of the most vital components for a compactor. Where the function of the grinding wheel as a driving medium for the unit to move from one place to another. One of the components on the grinding wheel is a bushing, a bushing that is used for too long will result in damage, one of which is wear, if the bushing is worn it will result in the operating unit so that when the tool operates, the roller wheel will roll. This can no longer be fixed so that the Bushing is replaced with a new one.
