Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using the internet as a learning resource on student achievement in the subject of Basic Accounting in class X Accounting Department of SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta. This type of research is quantitative research. The population in this study were class X students majoring in accounting at SMK Negeri 1 Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year with a total of 108 students with a sample of 80 students. The sampling technique used in this study is probability sampling with simple random sampling technique. data collection techniques using a questionnaire method. The questionnaire method had previously been tested with validity and reliability tests. The data analysis technique used is simple regression analysis, t test, F test, coefficient of determination. The results of the study using simple regression analysis obtained a regression equation: Y = 77.718 + 0.101X. The results of this study are: there is a positive influence between the use of the internet as a learning resource on student achievement based on the t test, it is obtained t count of 2.59> t table of 1.66462 with a significance value of 5%, and based on the F test it is obtained fcount> ftabel is 6,706> 3,96 with a significance value of 5%. The results of the research for R2 were 6.7%, while the remaining 93.3% was influenced by other variables outside of this study.
