Abstract

Today the phenomenon of Plastic Surgery among Indonesian Celebrity become so popular because plastic surgery that they do is aiming for physical changes on human bodies, for example they changes breast size, thicken their lips and others changes on their body for beauty goal. This phenomenon becomes so common among celebrites , and become so common for people. How Islam see this phenomenon of plastic surgery that aiming for physical changes for beauty goal and plastic surgery for medical reason. In Islam, how Al-Qur’an and Hadist set law about plastic surgery, either plastic surgery for medical reason or plastic surgery for beauty goal. This phenomenon has not yet occurred on Rasulullah SAW Era, then how ulama set the law about this phenomenon of plastic surgery with Al-Qur’an and Hadist. In Islam, someone must be so greatful what Allah SWT give to us, that is why people who changes their physical for beauty goal is haram, but someone who got sick when something in their bodies goes not well or being inviable is Halal for plastic surgery to make their bodies more healthy.
