Abstract
Counting is a counting activity for early childhood which is also known as the activity of saying a sequence of numbers or counting blindly. Children call the sequence of numbers without mentioning concrete objects. The purpose of this study was to examine literature, articles and research documents that identified an increase in the ability of playing arithmetic trees on the ability of arithmetic trees in children aged 5-6 years. The method in this study used a literature review in the form of primary articles of approximately 20 articles, 15 national journals with a period of the last 5 years and 5 international journals with a period of 7 years which are quality, accredited, and mutated. The independent variable is the children's numeracy ability, the dependent variable is the arithmetic tree game. The sample is a journal of research results with the topic of numeracy skills and 2 arithmetic tree games. The criteria for the selected journals were: 1) the respondents were early childhood;2) the independent variable is the ability to count and the dependent variable is the arithmetic tree game; 3) the treatment given is the effect of learning counting trees / a learning activity that is able to improve the development of early childhood numeracy skills. Results and discussion: Shows that numeracy has a very diverse range of activities. Consisting of traditional games, counting tree games, abacus games. Likewise, the arithmetic tree game can affect various aspects, namely cognitive development, children's self-confidence, to increase children's ability to learn to count. Conclusion: The results of the analysis of 20 journals state that the arithmetic tree game can affect the various development of children's abilities and the ability to count can be developed in a very varied way. Meanwhile, numeracy skills can be developed in various ways, such as through toss card games, numbers ball games. The dakon game, the counting tree game.
