Abstract
Learning motivation that is created in the child's learning process can be implemented by several things, including art, art is an important aspect in the process of early childhood development. Purpose: this study is to examine literature, articles and research documents that identify the motivation for learning children's arts in children aged 5 to 6 years. Methods: In this study, using a literature review in the form of primary articles of approximately 19 articles, 14 national journals with a period of the last 5 years and 5 international journals with a period of 7 years with quality, accredited and reputable. The sample is a research journal with the topic of motivation for learning art in early childhood in accordance with the criteria of the selected journal, namely: 1) the treatment given is the motivation for learning children's art; 2) the independent variable in the study is learning motivation, while the dependent variable is the art of children; 3) research that can increase children's learning motivation. Results and Discussion: The literature review states that methods can affect children's art learning motivation, including teacher center (teacher-centered) and student center (child-centered) learning methods, used material games methods, learning methods, assignment methods, guided methods, colorful finger print creation techniques, whole brain teaching methods, field trip methods, development methods. Media that influence children's art learning motivation, namely used bottle media, printing techniques with the help of 2 original media, leftover materials, various media, visual media, cards with star pictures, learning media. There are several factors that influence the motivation for learning art in early childhood, namely the role of the teacher and stimulation. Conclusion: Methods and learning media are problems that do not dominate, but there are other factors that influence children's art learning motivation in children aged 5-6 years, namely the role of teachers and stimulation.
