Abstract
This research aims to reveal: 1) professional development planning continuous at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta; 2) Implementing a continuous professional development program at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta; 3) Monitoring / evaluating the continuous professional development program at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta. This research uses qualitative methods, with a case study approach. The results showed that; 1) Planning for continuous professional development is carried out in a continuous manner and adjusted to the needs of teachers. Continuous professional development consists of three elements, namely self-development, scientific work and innovative work. The three continuous professional development programs have been carried out at SDN Kleco 1 Surakarta. 2) The implementation of the implementation of continuous professional development is carried out in two ways, first, participants are appointed directly by the Office, by being given an assignment letter or SK based on the results of the UKG (teacher competency test) data and secondly, the teacher takes the initiative to take part in the continuous professional development program independently (at their own expense. ). The obstacles that are often experienced by teachers in participating in continuous professional development relate to the time of implementation, where the implementation time of continuous professional development coincides with the effective days of teaching and learning activities. 3) Monitoring / evaluation of the implementation of continuous professional development; The principal conducts individual supervision of teachers who have not met the standards for achieving continuous professional development. Teachers will be given directions so that they continue to improve and develop their profession as a teacher.
