Abstract

Difference in interpretation is one aspect of concern because the difference of interpretation will affect the person in practicing the essence of Islamic teachings derived from the Quran. From here it is important to know the rules of Tarji>h in interpretation, because it is the core tool to know the strongest and main interpretation among the various interpretations, to be further implemented in the form of belief if related to the verses of faith, or in form of practice if it related to the verses of practical law, morals and ethics. This study aims to explain and describe Tarji>h Iman Al-Syauka>ni> to Surah Al-T{ala>q in the Quran. The data analysis technique used is content analysis by analizing the main source that is tafsir fath al-Qadi>r about the interpretation of surah al-T{ala>q and dig the tarji>h method used. And supported secondary data sources, namely to seek and explore other works such as books, dissertations, theses, journals, papers, or thought outcomes, and other research related to this research. The conclusion of this study is that Imam al-Syauka>ni> in tafsir fath al-Qadi>r interprets Surah Al-T{ala>q using the method of tarji>h namely: al-Tarji>h Bi al-Hadi>s al-Sahih, al-Tarji>h bi Muthlaq al-Lughah, al-Tarji>h bi al-siya>q, Tarji>h with the most opinion (Jumhu>h), Tarji>h with Asba>b An-Nuzu>l, Tarji>h with Qira>'at.
