Pneumonia is a lower respiratory tract infection that affects lung tissue caused by bacteria, viruses or fungi. Antibiotic therapy is most widely used due to the high incidence of bacterial infections. The variety of antibiotic therapy makes the choice of therapy need to be adjusted from the aspect of therapy and from the aspect of cost. This study aims to determine the most cost-effective therapy for antibiotic pneumonia therapy. The method is carried out in 4 steps, namely 1) Select a topic and topic formulation, 2) Search for literature, 3) Evaluate literature, 4) Review selected literature. The articles searched by Google Scholar and Pubmed with the PICO formula. The inclusion criterias of articles were published in 2015-2020, descriptive non experimental methods, Community-Acquired Pneumonia, mention the name of antibiotics, the research was carried out in Indonesia. The exclusion criteria were incomplete articles. From the search results, it was obtained 153 articles for a criterion review and obtained 11 articles for analysis. The results showed that the groups who are more at risk of developing pneumonia are aged <1 year, the elderly, and men. For therapy, it can be concluded that cefotaxime is the most cost-effective compared to other antibiotic therapies.
