Abstract

Harmonics contained in the electrical system can have a negative impact on the quality of electrical energy supplied, it can cause overheating, and losses. Harmonics caused by operation nonlinear loads. Common index used to measure a wave of harmonics is THD (Total Harmonic Distortion), this is a measure of the effective value of the harmonic component of the distorted sinusoidal waveform. THD has harmonic limits that are set according to IEEE 519-2014 standards. This research was conducted with a harmonic data measurement method on five medical electronic equipment namely, Echo Cardiag, Suction Apparatus, Infant Incubator, Infant Radiant Warmer, Warm Air using Power Quality Analyzer Fluke 43B. The results of measurement show a voltage, current harmonic, THDv, THDi, and individual harmonic of each orde. Based on data, then the data segmentation and analysis with Matlab Simulink R2019a, that show the distorted wave spectrum, then compared the result of a THD measurement, with the calculation THD, and standards of a THD. The results of THDv and THDi Echo Cardiag measurement is 0.5% and 33.7%, THDv and THDi Suction Apparatus is 0.6% and 8.7%, THDv and THDi Infant Incubator is 0.7% and 6.2% , THDv and THDi Infant Radiant Warmer is 0.4% and 3.7%, THDv and THDi Warm Air is 0.6% and 2.3%. THDv and THDi Furnace is 2,1% and 3,3%, THDv and THDi Dissolution Tester is 2,2% and 2,3%, THDv and THDi Disintegration Tester is 2,3% and 3,1%, THDv and THDi Rotary Vacuum Pump is 2% and 8,9%, THDv and THDi Oven Memmert is 2% and 3,7%. The biggest THDv at Disintegration Tester that is 2,3% and the biggest THDi at Echo Cardiag that is 33,7%.
