Abstract

Traditional markets are one of the elements contributing to the economy of a region that is managed by the government and the private sector. There is one type of traditional market, the livestock market. This type of traditional market is a traditional market that provides a means for various commodities to distribute their livestock to consumers. Livestock which are traded generally are in the form of poultry, cattle, and goats. However, in Kabupaten Karanganyar there has not been found a market that can accommodate various types of livestock to hobby animals to be marketed to consumers. The existence of a traditional market specifically for livestock is to be able to accommodate all types of live and slaughtered animals until hobby animals. The concept that has been determined for reference during the design and design planning process is in accordance with the title of this report, "Traditional Market for Hygienic Livestock with Edu Eco Friendly Design". The concept is used towards traditional markets that have hygienic environment and sellers. To achieve hygienic levels, there is a need for education between governments aimed at regulating the behavior of sellers to protect the environment. In addition, traditional markets specifically for educational animals are intended to introduce visitors to livestock. Hygienic and educative traditional markets wrapped in Eco Friendly to reduce the bad stigma to the public about traditional markets.
