Abstract

Regional spatial plan of Bantul Regency in 2010-2030, Kasihan subdistrict has a direction for the development of residential areas and urban-oriented services. Kasihan Subdistrict, shows that in Kasihan Subdistrict there some land use issues including the change of function of agricultural land by -4,8% within a period of 5 years. Land use that is not suitability with spatial direction will have several impacts in a region, so it requires guidelines from spatial planning to be able to achieve targeted development. The purpose of this study is (1) map the suitability of actual land use to the Spatial Detail Plan in Kasihan Subdistrict, Bantul Regency (2) analyze the distribution of the actual land use suitability to the Spatial Detail Plan in Kasihan Subdistrict of Bantul Regency (3) analyze the factors that influence the not suitability of land use to the Spatial Detail Plan in Kasihan Subdistrict, Bantul Regency. The research method used is indirect observation which is completed with surveys method and interviews, overlaying between actual land use maps and Spatial Detail Plan maps, and using qualitative analysis to describe the distribution and suitability factors of land use to the Spatial Detail Plan of Kasihan District, Bantul Regency. The results of this study indicate the suitability of land use to the detailed spatial plan of Kasihan Subdistrict has three classes of suitability, they are suitable, not yet suitable, and not suitable. The suitable class has an area of 2022.77 Ha, the not yet suitable class have an area of 1077.73 Ha and the not suitable class has an area of 128.63 Ha. The distribution of land use suitability to the detailed spatial plan for the class is suitable and not yet suitable to have the pattern of grouping into one large block, while for the unsuitable class, it is spread unevenly, only a few parts and only into small blocks. Factors that influence land use on the detailed spatial plan are land tenure systems, building permits, not understanding the detailed spatial plans, and economic opportunities.
