Abstract

Backgroud : Elderly (Elderly) is the final stage of development in the human life cycle which is a natural process that cannot be avoided by every individual. It is estimated that in 2030 the number of elderly people will increase by 56%, from 901. Many elderly people complain of pain in their limbs. Pain that is often felt by the elderly is knee pain which can be caused by osteoarthritis. Research Aims : Knowing the comparison of Transcutaneus Electrical Nerve Stimulation Pulse Burst and Trabert Flow in reducing knee osteoarthritis pain in old age. Research Methods : This type of research used in this study is a quasi experimental using pre and post test with grub control. The sample is taken by consecutive sampling technique. Research Results : Comparison of Transcutaneus Electric Nerve Stimulation Trabert currents are more effective in reducing compared with Transcutaneus Electrical Stimulation of Burst Pulses in osteoarthritis patients. In this case there is a decrease in the amount obtained from the WOMAC questionnaire sheet. But in terms of comfort, patients treated with Trabert Flow enjoyment are less comfortable compared to Pulse Burst.
