Abstract
Organic fertilizer in hydroponic cultivation can increase crop production. Organic materials that can be used are coconut water and tofu liquid waste. Coconut water contains sodium (Na), calcium (Ca), magnesium (Mg), ferum (Fe), phosphorus (P). Tofu liquid waste contains organic substances such as carbohydrates, protein, fat, phosphorus, water, and Fe are recycled as potential nutrients for plant growth. This study aims to determine the utilization of coconut water and tofu liquid waste as POC on the growth of hydroponic shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.). This research was conducted in Ds.Purwosari 05/03, Tlogowungu, Pati, Central Java. The research method used was an experiment, with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) of 2 factors, namely P1 (coconut water), P2 tofu liquid waste and M1 (rockwoll) planting media, M2 (coconut fiber). The results obtained by plants that had the highest average plant height for 4 MST (weeks after planting) were P0M1 treatment with a height of 13.71 cm and the highest number of leaves in the treatment P0M1, P1M1, P2M1 yaitu 7. Basedon the result showed that the treatment of the planting medium had a significant effect on the growth parameters of shallot plants.
