Abstract
Al-Quran is a medium of interaction between Allah and His servants. The Koran uses various sentences, such as affirmations, embedded sentences, and question sentences. Among the various sentences used are various sentences in the form of questions. Questions that are used as a medium of interaction in the Koran are not accompanied by answers or commonly referred to as rhetorical question sentences (KTR). The purpose of this study is to find out the identification of KTR in the Al-Quran translation text based on lingual markers, KTR grouping in the Al-Quran translation text, the meaning and context of KTR in the Al-Quran translation text. This research uses the agih method and mark reading technique. The results of research on the identification of KTR in the text of the Al-Quran translation are based on the lingual markers, which are not, is not it, who is it, and is it appropriate. The results of research on the KTR grouping in the text of the Al-Quran translation, namely: (1) KTR whose answers are implicit in the question sentence itself, (2) KTR for which the answer is in the same verse but in a different sentence, (3) KTR for which the answer is contained in the next verse. The results of research on the meaning and context of KTR, are: (1) God is all-knowing, (2) God is all-powerful over everything, (3) everything belongs only to God. The context of the rhetorical question sentence which means that Allah is Omniscient is found in the context of: (1) affirmation of the statements in the previous verses, (2) affirmation of omniscience and the validity of God's promises, (3) granting punishment to unbelievers, (4) Adam's prohibition and Eve approached the kuldi tree (5) impropriety declaring truth as magic, (6) affirming God's omnipotence.
