Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of the principles of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence and justice on the performance of zakat institutions. This research is an associate research with a quantitative approach. The data used in this study are primary data obtained through questionnaires. The sample was 74respondents taken by cluster random sampling technique. The techniques of analyze the data using instrument test, classical assumption test, multiple linear regression tests and the accuracy of the model test. The results of the study show that simultaneously the principles of transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence and justice affect the performance of zakat institutions. The result of the research are partially shows that the principle of transparency and justice has a positive and significant effect on the performance of zakat institutions. The principle of accountability and responsibility has a positive and not significant effect on the performance of zakat institutions while the principle of independence does not affect the performance of zakat institutions.
