Abstract

As the development of technology makes it easy for anyone to access videos from the YouTube site without exception by children. The game content itself is of interest to children because of its entertaining nature, but not all video game content content on the YouTube site complies with the provisions in Article 36 Paragraph (1) of Law Number 32 of 2002 “Broadcast content must contain information, education, entertainment and benefits for the formation of intellect, character, morals, progress, strength of the nation, maintaining unity and unity, as well as practicing the values of Indonesian religion and culture. " The provision prevents children from dangerous content contained in electronic media, especially content that contains elements of violence and pornography that can damage morale. Based on this, children in particular are consumers of video game content so that the legal protection of children needs to receive more attention, due to the lack of legislation governing legal protection of children from video game content.
